冬至不吃湯圓

今年冬至的傳統角色 — 湯圓，有了變化。「元宵」取而代之。

「元宵」已不僅僅在元宵節才登場 ，他在今天冬至晚上扮演了一個新角色。

This year, the traditional role of tangyuan during the Winter Solstice has changed — replaced by Yuanxiao.

Yuanxiao is no longer limited to appearing only during the Lantern Festival. Tonight, it takes on a new role in the Winter Solstice celebration.

The photos and videos were taken on December 20 at Top City Department Store in Taichung, where students from Feng Chia University demonstrated the process of making yuanxiao at “Chen-Ji Yuanxiao.”

I would say Yuanxiao plays a new role at Winter Solstice other than in Yuan Xiao Festival, traditionally known as Lantern Festival, when “Chen-Ji Yuan Xiao” starts its marketing in Top City Department Store in Taichung.

Yuanxiao is offered not only at Lantern Festival but is also presented as an additional character at Winter Solstice.
